Application Procedures under Law No. 4982

About the Law and Its Implementation

Law No. 4982 on the Right to Access Information entered into force upon its publication in the Official Gazette No. 25269 dated 24 October 2003. The procedures and principles concerning the implementation of the Law are regulated by the Regulation on the Implementation of the Law on the Right to Access Information, published in the Official Gazette No. 25445 dated 27 April 2004.

  • Method of Application: Natural and legal persons may request information by submitting an application containing the required details.
  • Electronic Application: Applications can be submitted electronically through our website.
  • Subject of Request: Applications must relate to information and documents held in the institution's records.
  • Process: Applications submitted in due form are evaluated and answered within a reasonable time.
