Natural Person (Sole Proprietorship) New Registration

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

1. New Registration Request Petition

   It must be prepared for a natural person – sole proprietorship.

2. Specimen signature or signature declaration of the business owner / authorised person

   If no signature record is held in the databases of public institutions and organisations or it cannot be obtained, the signatures of the persons concerned must be submitted either notarised or as a written declaration at any Trade Registry Directorate. (1 original)

   The specimen signatures of persons with the new identity card can be obtained electronically through NVİ (General Directorate of Population and Citizenship Affairs) and recorded in the MERSİS database. In this case, a physical signature declaration is not required. (Ministry Circular No. 72558467 dated 4/3/2022)

3. Photograph

   (2 copies)

4. "Viewing Document" to be obtained from the Tax Office

   It must be issued in the name of the natural person to be registered. (1 original – 1 photocopy)

   Note: Since it cannot be obtained electronically through the Ministry of Finance Tax Offices Automation Project (VEDOP) system, submission of the document is required.

5. Natural Person Registration Declaration

   It must be completed for registration with the Chamber.

   Pharmacists registered with the Chamber of Pharmacists must also submit the original of the registration certificate obtained from the Chamber of Pharmacists for registration with the Chamber.

NOTES

• a) If a capital of 100,000.00 Turkish Lira or more is declared upon the establishment of sole proprietorship firms, a Certified Public Accountant (SMMM) / Sworn-in Certified Public Accountant (YMM) report verifying the stated amount and a certificate of activity

• b) Our Directorate registers only natural persons who keep books on a BALANCE SHEET BASIS. For verification, please submit a photocopy of the front page of the journal.

• c) If the natural person is a foreign national:
  • If available, a notarized copy of the Residence Permit (1 original), or, if the address is abroad, a declaration indicating the address
  • Translated and notarized copy of the passport (1 original - 1 photocopy)
  • Photograph (2 copies)
