This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies we use on our website bartintso.org.tr as Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry, for what purposes, and how you can manage your preferences. For details on the processing of your personal data, you may review the KVKK Privacy Notice.
1. What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files that the website you visit saves to your browser. They ensure that the site works properly and securely, help remember some of your preferences, and help us understand how the site is used.
2. Cookies we use
Essential cookies
These are necessary for the operation of the site and the security of forms; they do not depend on your consent and cannot be turned off.
- bartintso-session (session cookie): so that the site recognises you during your visit and the result message is displayed after a form is submitted; duration: 2 hours from your last action; type: essential,
- XSRF-TOKEN (security cookie): to prevent forms from being submitted on your behalf from other sites; duration: 2 hours from your last action; type: essential.
Visit counter
Our site's own visit counter does not use cookies.
Form security (Google reCAPTCHA)
When you use the contact form, the Google reCAPTCHA service is loaded to prevent the form from being abused by automated programs (spam). To function, reCAPTCHA transmits technical information about your device and browser to Google and may use cookies on Google’s own domain. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
- _GRECAPTCHA (on the Google domain): to distinguish whether the person using the form is a human or an automated program; duration: determined by Google; type: essential.
Visit statistics cookies (only with your consent)
If you select the "Accept" option in the cookie bar at the bottom of the page, Google Analytics uses the following cookies to measure visit statistics (such as pages viewed, duration of visit, device and browser type, and approximate location). Your IP address is anonymised in this measurement. If you select "Reject", or as long as you make no selection, Google Analytics is not loaded and these cookies are not created.
- _ga: to distinguish visitors from one another; duration: 2 years; type: statistics,
- _ga_<ölçüm kimliği>: to store visit (session) information; duration: 2 years; type: statistics.
Map (Google Maps, only if you wish)
The map on the contact page is loaded only when you click the "Show map" button. When the map is loaded, Google may use cookies on its own domain; the purpose and duration of these cookies are determined by Google (Privacy Policy).
- Google cookies (e.g. NID): for the map to function and for map preferences to be remembered; duration: determined by Google; type: functional.
No advertising cookies are used on our website.
3. Your cookie preferences
The selection you make in the cookie bar is stored not as a cookie but in your browser's local storage for 6 months. When this period expires, you will be asked for your preference again.
- You can change your selection at any time by reopening the cookie bar via the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the page.
- You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, some sections, such as the contact form, may not work.
