Membership Fee Procedures

Pursuant to Law No. 5174 on the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye and Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, annual membership fees and supplementary membership fees are collected from all natural and legal person members registered with our Chamber.

Membership fee payments are made each year in two equal instalments, in June and October.

Annual Membership Fee

Chamber members are classified according to a rating tariff determined by taking into account their registered capital or net assets. As a result of this rating, the annual membership fee amount is calculated and accrued for each member.

Supplementary Membership Fee

For natural person merchants and industrialists, the supplementary membership fee is calculated on the total commercial income stated in the Income Tax return; for legal entity merchants and industrialists, it is calculated on the commercial balance sheet profit shown in the Corporate Tax return.

A supplementary membership fee is accrued at the rate of five per thousand (0.5%) of this amount. Enterprises that declare a loss do not pay a supplementary membership fee for the relevant year.

Formula:

Supplementary Membership Fee = Commercial Income of the Previous Year x 0.5% (five per thousand)

Notification and Accrual Process

Pursuant to Article 5 of Tax Procedure Law No. 213, our Chamber may request information from Tax Offices where necessary. If a member does not submit an income or balance sheet declaration and this information cannot be obtained from the Tax Office, the previous year's supplementary membership fee is provisionally accrued in the same manner, in an amount of at least three times the annual membership fee ceiling.

Membership Fee Payments

Our members may pay their membership fees directly at the Chamber's cashier's office or through the bank accounts listed below. The Chamber Registry Number and Company Title must be specified in the payments.
