Digital Career Centre (DKM)
The Digital Career Centre (DKM) is a career platform launched by the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry that aims to bring job seekers and employers together online. It aims to increase the local employability of young people who are associate degree, bachelor's or master's graduates, or students at these levels of education, and to make it easier for them to access quality jobs and internships. For businesses, it serves as a support mechanism that enables faster and more accurate access to qualified human resources.
By encouraging the digitalisation of job search and job posting processes, the DKM contributes to raising awareness of entrepreneurship, career development and skills acquisition within the local ecosystem. It aims to build a strong network of interaction between local businesses and young people, to expand opportunities for professional development, and to support the emergence of a highly competitive workforce. In line with employers' requests, the platform has been structured so as to be open also to high school students and graduates.
The DKM has been supported by the Western Black Sea Development Agency (BAKKA) under the Technical Assistance Programme for Professional Development. The core approach of the project is to build a sustainable and accessible employment infrastructure that will contribute to the socio-economic development of the region.
The platform is completely free of charge. No fee is charged at any stage, whether posting a job advertisement, creating a candidate profile, submitting an application, or being employed following an application. The DKM is open to everyone regardless of age, and is an inclusive career service that aims to contribute to the development of a qualified workforce in Bartın.
