Keeping Member Information Up to Date and Membership Fee Obligations
Keeping the contact information of our members in our Chamber's records up to date is of great importance for effective communication and uninterrupted service delivery.
If changes in contact information are not reported, it is not possible to reach our members, which eliminates the opportunity to benefit from many services, announcements and activities.
In a rapidly digitalizing business world, accurate and up-to-date contact information forms the basis of timely communication. Therefore, our members are required to update their contact information regularly so that they can receive active notifications via e-mail, corporate SMS and similar communication channels.
Notifying our Chamber of any changes in our members' company and contact information is a legal obligation.
The relevant article of Law No. 5174 on the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye contains the provision: "Any changes in the circumstances of a merchant registered with the Chamber that require registration and announcement under the Commercial Code must be notified to the Chambers and Exchanges within one month of their occurrence."
