Social Security Week Visit to Bartın TSO by the Bartın SGK Delegation
On the occasion of Social Security Week, celebrated every year during the week that includes 16 May, Mustafa Şaban Çengel, Bartın Provincial Director of the Social Security Institution (SGK), and his accompanying delegation visited the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The visit, hosted by Bartın TSO Chairman of the Board Halil Balık, was also attended by Bartın TSO Assembly Chairman Hüseyin Çalıkoğlu and Board Treasurer Hasan Ufuk. During the visit, views were exchanged on the importance of the social security system for the business community, the promotion of registered employment, employers' obligations in the field of social security, and cooperation between institutions.
Speaking during the visit, SGK Bartın Provincial Director Mustafa Şaban Çengel stated that Social Security Week holds an important place in terms of public awareness and said that they carry out various information activities to spread social security awareness. Drawing attention to the fact that the sustainability of the social security system is directly linked to registered employment, Çengel emphasized the great importance of strong cooperation with the business community.
Bartın TSO Chairman of the Board Halil Balık, for his part, expressed his satisfaction with the visit and stated that SGK provides an important public service for employers and employees. In his statement, Balık said, "The social security system is of great importance for enabling employees to look to the future with confidence, ensuring sustainability in working life and strengthening social welfare. As Bartın TSO, we attach importance to our members having access to accurate and up-to-date information on developments in the field of social security, and in this regard we continue to work in cooperation with SGK.
