Halil Balık, President of the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was a guest on the “Üretimin Gücü” programme, broadcast live on CNBC-e and presented by Ali Çağatay. The programme discussed prominent areas of the provincial economy, such as Bartın's tourism potential, the city's commercial history, bay laurel production, coal production and forestry activities. While Bartın's current industrial and commercial structure was addressed, the investment environment and the opportunities it offers to the business community were also mentioned. The broadcast also featured assessments of Bartın's longstanding production culture and its investment and development goals for the coming period.
