Bartın TSO Delegation Attends the 82nd Financial General Assembly of TOBB

A delegation from the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry attended the 82nd Financial General Assembly of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye.

The General Assembly, held at TOBB ETÜ, took place with the participation of Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, representatives of the chamber and commodity exchange community, and business people from 81 provinces.

Attending the General Assembly were Halil Balık, Chairman of the Board of Bartın TSO; Hüseyin Çalıkoğlu, Chairman of the Assembly; Sertaç Şimşek, TOBB Delegate and Board Member; Yücel Oğullar, Board Member; Ahmet İncekara, Secretary General; and Mine Fırıncıoğlu, Chair of the TOBB Bartın Women Entrepreneurs Board.

Within the scope of the General Assembly, presentations were delivered by the Accounts Review Committee, the Legislation Committee, the Economic Report Review Committee, the Petitions Review Committee, the European Union Harmonisation Committee, the Foreign Relations Committee, the Tax Committee, the Economic Policy Committee and the Press and Publication Committee.

The members of the Economic Report Review Committee, in which Halil Balık, Chairman of the Board of Bartın TSO, serves as Vice Chair, also met with TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu before the General Assembly and held consultations on the national economy, the expectations of the business community and assessments concerning the sectors.

Speaking after the General Assembly meeting, Chairman Halil Balık stated that the committee work carried out within TOBB is important for conveying the demands of the business community to the relevant platforms, and made the following remarks:

"Within the scope of the Economic Report Review Committee, in which we serve as Vice Chair, we met with our TOBB President, Mr. M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, and the committee members and exchanged views on the national economy. We held productive consultations on the current situation of the business community, sectoral expectations and economic developments. The TOBB General Assembly is one of the important consultation platforms where the expectations and demands of the business community are discussed. I wish that the 82nd Financial General Assembly may be beneficial for our country and our business community, and I extend my thanks, first and foremost to our TOBB President, Mr. M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, for hosting the event and for his contributions."
