The Women Entrepreneurs Board (KGK) of the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry visited the Rector of Bartın University, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya, in his office. During the visit, the activities planned for 2026 under the cooperation protocol signed between Bartın TSO and Bartın University were discussed.

The KGK Chair and board members shared their expectations regarding the development of women's entrepreneurship, the strengthening of university–business relations, the design of joint training and consultancy programs, and increasing the participation of young women in the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya provided information on the work of the university's entrepreneurship, research and application centers, and stated that they were ready to support joint projects to be carried out with the Bartın TSO KGK.

At the meeting, mutual assessments were made on joint events for women entrepreneurs, mentoring programs, project development activities and training activities in the coming period.
