Information Seminar on the "Price Tag Regulation" Held at Bartın TSO
An information seminar on the "Price Tag Regulation", organized for businesses by the Bartın Provincial Directorate of Trade and hosted by the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was held. At the seminar, price tag practices and current regulations in the relevant legislation were addressed, and comprehensive information was shared on the obligations of businesses.
At the seminar, which began with the opening speech by Halil Balık, President of the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry, attention was drawn to the importance of the healthy functioning of the market order, the protection of consumer rights and businesses' compliance with the legislation. In his speech, Balık said: "We believe that our members will show the necessary diligence in line with this regulation. However, we consider such information seminars extremely important in order to prevent a lack of information and possible misunderstandings. As Bartın TSO, we continue our work in cooperation with our Bartın Provincial Directorate of Trade so that our members comply fully with the legislation and do not face any penal sanctions."
As part of the seminar, Ertunç Ülkü, Acting Director of the Bartın Provincial Directorate of Trade, gave participants a comprehensive presentation on the "Price Tag Regulation". The presentation covered in detail the procedures and principles to be observed in price tag practices, the obligations of businesses under the legislation, the rules to be followed in discounted sales, and practices encountered during inspection processes.
Provincial Directorate of Trade staff members İzzet Vurucu and Sümeyye Betül Usta, who contributed to the organization and delivery of the training, supported the smooth and efficient running of the program. After the participants' questions were answered and evaluations regarding implementation were shared, the seminar was concluded productively.
