Bartın TSO Visits the Penal Execution Institution

Halil Balık, President of the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Board Member Necati Sandıkcı and the accompanying delegation paid a visit to Mr. Osman Uğur, Director of the Bartın Closed and Open Penal Execution Institution, in his office.

During the visit, joint projects that could be carried out to develop the vocational skills of citizens in the open prison and to help reintegrate them into society were discussed. The delegation inspected the workshops operating in the prison on site and received information about ongoing activities.

The meeting also included consultations on increasing production and vocational training activities, creating new lines of business, and planning training programs tailored to the needs of the labor market.

Speaking after the visit, Bartın TSO President Halil Balık said, "We attach importance to the efforts carried out to reintegrate our citizens in prison into society. In this context, as Bartın TSO, we are ready to fulfill our responsibilities and develop projects in cooperation."
