Digital Transformation Visit to Companies by Bartın TSO within the Scope of the CLUSTWIN Project
Within the scope of the CLUSTWIN Project (Contributing to Sustainability in the Region by Building Inter-Chamber Cooperation through a Twin Transition-Oriented Cluster), which is supported by the European Union and coordinated by the Kocaeli Chamber of Industry, with the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a project partner, site visits were carried out to project stakeholder companies operating in the Bartın Organized Industrial Zone.
The visits, carried out under the coordination of the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry, were attended by Hasan Turgut, Digital Transformation Director of METU Technopolis (ODTÜ TEKNOKENT), and Sena Kasapoğlu and Eyüp Sabri Kundak, Foreign Trade, Accreditation and Project Officers of the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry. DDX Digital Transformation Maturity Level Assessments were conducted at BARMAK and ÖZ-MADEŞ Madeni Eşya Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., companies included in the project, and the current digital transformation levels of the enterprises were assessed on site.
As part of the analyses, the companies' production processes, digital infrastructure, technological capabilities and transformation potential were examined, and technical assessments were made on areas for development that would accelerate digitalization processes. In line with the data obtained, the aim is to contribute to the creation of digital transformation roadmaps for the enterprises.
The CLUSTWIN Project aims to increase the international competitiveness of enterprises by supporting their digital and green transformation processes, to develop sustainable cooperation among chambers, and to strengthen the clustering culture in the region. While the digital maturity analyses carried out within the project establish the current situation of the companies using scientific methods, guidance is also provided for the transition to a sustainable production approach.
Halil Balık, Chairman of the Board of the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated that digital and green transformation are of great importance for the competitiveness of enterprises, and said: "With the CLUSTWIN Project, we aim to strengthen our members' digitalization and sustainability capacities and to increase their international competitiveness.
