Bartın University Students Pay a Visit to President Balık

Members of the Bartın University Business Club and Entrepreneurship Club, accompanied by Bartın TSO Academic Advisor Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Zelka, paid a visit to Halil Balık, President of the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in his office. During the visit, the students had the opportunity to learn about the structure of the business world, entrepreneurship culture and the activities of the Chamber.

As part of the visit, Eyüp Sabri Kundak, Bartın TSO Project and Accreditation Specialist, gave an orientation presentation for the students. The presentation provided comprehensive information on the establishment process of the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry, its institutional structure, its management system, its duties and responsibilities under the legal legislation, and the activities and projects it carries out.

In the remainder of the programme, a conversation took place between Bartın TSO President Halil Balık and the students. While the students put the questions they were curious about regarding entrepreneurship and business life to President Halil Balık, Balık shared his experiences in the business world and offered the young people various pieces of advice. Emphasising the importance of entrepreneurship culture, Balık stated that it is of great importance for the career development of young people to develop innovative ideas and to establish contact with the business world at an early stage.

During the visit, opportunities for cooperation that could be developed between the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Bartın University were also discussed. A mutual exchange of views took place on joint events, entrepreneurship-focused programmes and project work that could be carried out between the Chamber and the university.

The visit ended with a commemorative photograph taken to mark the day.
