Vocational Education Fair in Bartın Draws Great Interest

The Vocational Education Fair, organised by the Bartın Provincial Directorate of National Education, featured colourful displays of students' work and products in the field of vocational education. Held with the participation of the Governor of Bartın, Dr. Nurtaç Arslan, and the provincial protocol, the fair drew great interest from visitors.

Halil Balık, Chairman of the Board of the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Board Member Necati Sandıkcı, and Secretary General Ahmet İncekara also attended the fair. Following the opening programme, the stands prepared by vocational and technical education institutions were visited and information was received about the students' work.

Speaking within the scope of the event, Halil Balık, Chairman of the Board of Bartın TSO, stated that vocational education is of strategic importance for the national economy and the business community, saying: "Vocational education is one of the most important elements in training a qualified workforce. The work produced by our students is extremely valuable in showing how far vocational education has come. As Bartın TSO, we will continue to support all efforts that produce, develop and contribute to the training of individuals with a profession."

Throughout the fair, the projects, practical work and product samples prepared by the students were examined with interest by visitors, while the experiments and demonstrations carried out gave visitors the opportunity to observe scientific processes up close. The event was regarded as an important organisation in terms of raising students' scientific awareness and spreading a culture of research.
