Minister of Labour and Social Security Prof. Dr. Vedat Işıkhan, our Governor Dr. Nurtaç Arslan, AK Party Bartın Member of Parliament Yusuf Ziya Aldatmaz and the accompanying delegation visited the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Welcomed by Halil Balık, Chairman of the Board of the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and by the Members of the Board and Assembly Members, the delegation made assessments concerning the Bartın business community during a programme held at the Chamber's service building.

Speaking during the visit, Halil Balık, Chairman of the Board of Bartın TSO, briefed Minister Işıkhan and the accompanying delegation on the Chamber's activities, the services provided to members, ongoing projects and work on Bartın's economic potential. Sharing the expectations and requests of the Bartın business community, Balık also made assessments on increasing employment, supporting production and improving the investment environment.

Minister of Labour and Social Security Prof. Dr. Vedat Işıkhan, for his part, emphasised the importance of the business community, which contributes to Bartın's production, employment and economic development, and provided information on the work carried out by the Ministry. He stated that strengthening cooperation between the business community and public institutions is of great importance for regional development.

Following an exchange of views, the visit concluded with the presentation of a gift and the taking of a commemorative photograph in memory of the day.
