Extended Provincial Security and Public Order Coordination Center Meeting Held

The Extended Provincial Security and Public Order Coordination Center Meeting was held at the Governorship's 15 July Martyrs Meeting Hall. The meeting, chaired by the Governor of Bartın, Dr. Nurtaç Arslan, was attended by the Garrison Commander, Deputy Governors, District Governors, the Provincial Police Chief, the Provincial Gendarmerie Commander, the Coast Guard Western Black Sea Group Commander, the President of Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry Halil Balık, the heads of relevant units, and representatives of non-governmental organizations. The meeting began with briefing presentations by the Provincial Police Department and the Provincial Gendarmerie Command, and the measures taken and to be taken across our province in the fight against counterfeit alcohol were assessed. Drawing attention to the recent increase in poisoning and death cases caused by the consumption of counterfeit alcohol, particularly in metropolitan cities, Governor Arslan stated that efforts to prevent the consumption and sale of contraband/counterfeit alcohol in our province continue without slowing down, and that our citizens should approach the matter with sensitivity and report any suspicious situations to the 112 Emergency Call Center without delay.
