Information Seminar on Labour Law and Company Law Held

The "Information Seminar on Labour Law and Corporate Law", hosted by the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry and organised in cooperation with the Bartın Bar Association, KOSGEB and the Bartın Organised Industrial Zone Directorate, was held at the Bartın TSO Conference Hall with broad participation. The programme was attended by Halil Balık, Chairman of the Board of the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Nail Öztürk, Attorney at Law and President of the Bartın Bar Association; Erhan Özcan, Provincial Director of Trade; Gökhan Akdağoğlu, KOSGEB Provincial Director; Dr. Şahin Baş, BAKKA Provincial Coordinator; Oğuzhan Kasapoğlu, Director of the Bartın OSB; Alparslan Başol, Manager of the Bartın Branch of Halkbank; Chamber members; and many invited guests.

Delivering the opening speech of the seminar, Halil Balık, Chairman of the Board of Bartın TSO, drew attention to the importance of the business community closely following legislative changes and of companies taking the right steps in legal processes. Balık emphasised that Bartın TSO will continue its training and information activities aimed at raising its members' level of knowledge.

Addressing the participants after the opening speech, Nail Öztürk, Attorney at Law and President of the Bartın Bar Association, stated that cooperation between the legal community and the business world is of critical importance for the sustainability of businesses, compliance with legislation and corporate development. Öztürk noted that, as the Bartın Bar Association, they will continue to contribute to such events.

In the training section of the seminar, a comprehensive presentation was delivered by Attorneys at Law Ali Aydın and Emrah Altun. The presentation addressed current regulations in the field of labour law, employer obligations, contract management in companies, legal responsibilities in partnership structures, the mitigation of corporate risks and example cases encountered in practice. At the end of the programme, participants had the opportunity to evaluate the topics in detail through questions they put to the trainers.

In a statement made by the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry, it was stated that information seminars aimed at supporting members' legal awareness will continue on a regular basis.
