Happy Eid al-Fitr

Halil Balık, President of the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry, issued a message of greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. In his message, President Balık stated the following:

“As we leave behind Ramadan, the month of mercy, abundance and sharing, we are all together experiencing the peace and joy of reaching Eid al-Fitr, one of the exceptional days on which feelings of love, brotherhood and solidarity are lived most strongly. Eid holidays are special times in which social unity is strengthened, grievances are left behind, and our national and spiritual values are appreciated in the most beautiful way.

On these meaningful days, it is of great importance to remember our elders, relatives, friends and neighbors, and to strengthen our bonds of affection. At the same time, looking after our citizens in need, those who have no one, orphans, our heroic veterans and the esteemed families of our dear martyrs is a social responsibility in keeping with the spirit of Eid.

I hope that the Eid holidays, which help keep our deep-rooted customs and traditions alive, will be observed in unity, togetherness and solidarity. On this occasion, with my sincerest wishes, I extend my greetings on Eid al-Fitr to our esteemed members and the business community in particular, as well as to our nation and the entire Islamic world, and I wish you health, peace and well-being.”
