New Design of Work Permit Documents
Pursuant to the letter sent by the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye;
In order to increase the security level of work permit documents and raise the level of protection against forgery, work on integrating the current technologies used in high-security documents into work permit documents has been completed.
In this context, the printing, personalization and distribution of the redesigned work permit documents began as of March 2026.
Under the new practice, the verification of work permit cards;
- may be carried out via the QR code on the card or
- through the "Inquiry System for Work Permits, Work Permit Exemptions and Turquoise Card Information of Foreigners" available at https://izinsorgula.csgb.gov.tr.
On the other hand, work permits that were issued previously and have not yet expired will continue to remain valid for their duration.
