On the Deposit Management System Practices and the Return Machine Allocation Program

Our members must submit their application forms for the deposit return machines to be distributed free of charge under the Deposit Management System to our Chamber by 5:00 p.m. on 11 December 2025.

On the Deposit Management System Practices and the Return Machine Allocation Program

The Deposit Management System (DYS) practice, carried out by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, will be extended nationwide as of 2025. In this context, the use of the DYS barcode and logo on glass, PET and aluminum beverage packaging has been made mandatory, and an obligation to install Deposit Return Machines at points of sale has been introduced in order to ensure the effective operation of the process for recovering such packaging.

TÜÇA will distribute a total of 2,000 deposit return machines free of charge to local and chain supermarkets in the 74 provinces other than the pilot provinces.

Our members requesting a deposit return machine are kindly requested to fill in the information on the locations where they want the machine to be installed using the attached form, and to submit it to our Chamber, together with the required supporting documents, by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2025.
