Announcement on Investment Opportunities in Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic

In a letter dated October 8, 2026 received from the Ministry of Trade, it was reported that, within the scope of priority investment projects prepared for the development of the city of Santo Domingo Este in the Dominican Republic, cooperation opportunities in the areas of investment, public-private partnership (PPP) and technology transfer are being offered to Turkish companies.

These opportunities cover a total of 46 priority projects grouped under the following 7 main headings:

  • Tourism and Economic Innovation

  • Circular Economy and Environment

  • Health and Education

  • Sports and Recreation

  • Transportation and Logistics

  • Culture and Heritage

  • Security and Smart Cities

The projects aim to enable Turkish companies to develop cooperation through investment, public-private partnership and technology transfer models.

The information letter on the projects in question and the list of 46 priority projects are attached.

This is submitted for the information of our members who are considering investing in the Dominican Republic, developing international cooperation and evaluating opportunities in new markets.
