Announcement Regarding the Grievances Experienced by Our Truck Drivers in Romania

In a letter dated 1 October 2026 received from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was reported that complaints have recently increased regarding grievances experienced by our truck drivers working in Romania for various reasons, such as bribe demands and unjust fines imposed by the Romanian police.

It was stated that these grievances have been raised with the Romanian Minister of Internal Affairs, Cătălin Predoiu, and that the General Directorate for Anticorruption of the Romanian Ministry of Internal Affairs has committed to carrying out the necessary assessments on the matter.

In this context, the contact details that our truck drivers working in Romania may use if they are victimized by bribe demands or similar cases of corruption are provided below:
