Important Announcement on Trade Registry Procedures
Dear Member,
As you know, within the scope of the regulation made by Law No. 6728, fees and other payments related to the trade registry have been collected by our Chambers since 1 January 2017. With this practice;
- Trade Registry Fees
- Competition Authority Share
- Announcement Publication Fee
- Chamber Registration Fee
- Chamber Service Fee
are collected at a single point, ensuring that procedures are completed more quickly and easily.
However, in line with feedback from our members regarding the high amount of fees in some trade registry procedures, it has been deemed necessary to emphasize the following points:
- Trade registry fees are not determined by the Chambers.
- These fees are determined by the General Communiqué on the Fees Law published every year by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance (Revenue Administration).
- Not all of the trade registry fees collected constitute revenue for our Chamber. Only 25% of this amount is transferred to our Chamber under the relevant legislation.
- Whereas before 2017 these payments were made separately to different institutions, under the current practice, procedures are carried out at a single point in order to make things easier for our members.
In this context, the items listed on the issued collection receipts are stated clearly and comprehensibly, and our efforts to inform our members are continuing.
We submit this for your information.
