Announcement on the Fuel Tank Restriction in Turkmenistan

In a letter dated May 12, 2026, sent to our Chamber by the Ministry of Trade, General Directorate of International Services Trade, information was provided on the practice concerning the amount of diesel fuel that may be held in the fuel tanks of vehicles registered in Turkmenistan.

The letter states that the amount of diesel fuel in the fuel tanks of vehicles entering Turkmenistan has been limited to 300 litres.

It is important that this practice be brought to the attention of our members in the transport and logistics sector operating on the Turkmenistan route.

This is announced to our relevant members.
