Branch Registration of a Natural Person (Sole Proprietor)

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

1. Documents to be obtained from the registry directorate where the head office is registered (TSY Article 120)
   • If any, a certified copy of the company's founding documents together with their amendments (TSY Article 120/c - 1 original set). Pursuant to the letter of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye, General Directorate of Domestic Trade, dated 16.07.2020 and numbered 50035491-431.04-E-00055737950, this will not be requested if the articles of association (together with amendments) can be accessed through the announcements published electronically in the Turkish Trade Registry Gazette.
2. New Registration Request Petition
3. Specimen signature / signature declaration of the Branch Manager

   If there is no signature record kept in the databases of public institutions and organizations, or the record cannot be obtained, the signatures of the persons concerned are submitted to the directorate either by having them physically notarized or by making a written declaration at any Trade Registry Directorate. (1 original)

4. Photograph

   (2 copies)

5. "TAXPAYER VIEWING CERTIFICATE FOR NATURAL PERSONS" from the Tax Office

   (1 original - 1 photocopy)

   This is requested because it cannot be obtained electronically from the Ministry of Finance Tax Offices Automation Project (VEDOP) system.

6. For registration with the Chamber: Natural Person Registration Declaration

NOTES

• 1. If the field of activity is the same as that of the head office, a branch must be opened; if it is different, a separate natural person head office registration must be created.

• 2. If the Branch Manager is a Foreign National;
  • If available, a notarized copy of the Residence Permit (1 original), or, if the address is abroad, a declaration indicating the address
  • Translated and notarized copy of the passport (1 original - 1 photocopy)
  • Photograph (2 copies)
  • Tax office potential viewing document (1 original)
