Statement of Opinion to the Bartın Provincial Directorate of Social Security on Interest Rates for Premium Restructuring

Members' views on the interest rates applied in SGK premium restructuring have been shared.

In the feedback received from our members during the Professional Committee Meetings held by the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 19–20–21 November 2025, assessments were conveyed to our Chamber that the monthly interest rates in employee premium restructurings applied by the Social Security Institution are higher than the rates applied by private banks. It was stated that this situation creates an additional financial burden on businesses.

The requests received from our members have been brought to the attention of the Bartın Provincial Directorate of Social Security, and it was stated that any information that could be shared with our Chamber regarding the interest rates applied in premium restructurings and the process for determining these rates would be appreciated.

It is considered important to ensure a flow of explanatory information on the matter so that our members can be informed accurately and properly.
