Official Letter to the Bartın Provincial Directorate of the Social Security Institution on Undeclared Employment Activities
An assessment has been requested regarding undeclared employment activities in the real estate sector.
Within the scope of the Professional Committee Meetings held by the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 19–20–21 November 2025, extensive feedback was received from our members operating in the real estate sector indicating that undeclared employment activities in the sector are increasing.
In the assessments submitted by our members, it was stated that undeclared employment practices cause social security premium losses, create an environment of unfair competition for registered businesses, and adversely affect the sustainable structure of the sector.
In this context, a request that assessments be shared regarding the planned work to detect undeclared employment, the practices envisaged to prevent informality in the sector, and the actions planned by the Bartın Provincial Directorate of the Social Security Institution on this matter has been submitted to your Provincial Directorate by official letter.
The Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry follows the process by conveying the findings and requests of its members to the relevant institutions, with the aim of supporting registered employment, protecting the social security system, and ensuring a fair competitive environment in all sectors.
