Official Letter to the Bartın Provincial Directorate of Trade of the Ministry of Trade on Unregistered Activities
An assessment and information have been requested on unregistered activities in the real estate sector.
Within the scope of the Professional Committee Meetings held by the Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 19–20–21 November 2025, extensive feedback was received from our members operating in the real estate sector indicating that unregistered trade and unregistered employment activities are increasing in the sector.
In the assessments submitted by our members, it was stated that engaging in real estate trade without an authorization certificate creates unfair competition for registered businesses, causes harm to consumers and adversely affects the credibility of the sector.
In this context, a request has been submitted to your Directorate by official letter for the sharing of assessments regarding the work that can be carried out to inspect activities in real estate trade conducted without an authorization certificate, the measures planned to prevent unregistered activity in the sector, and the actions envisaged by the Bartın Provincial Directorate of Trade in this regard.
The Bartın Chamber of Commerce and Industry conveys the findings and requests of its members to the relevant institutions and closely follows the process, with the aim of strengthening registered trade, protecting consumer rights and ensuring fair competition in all sectors.
