Required documents and information for the procedures for a change of address of a joint stock company

    (1 original – 1 photocopy)

    -The corporate body resolutions submitted to our Trade Registry Directorate by companies that have started keeping their commercial books through ETDS must contain the verification code issued by ETDS. For applications submitted to your directorate, these resolutions will be verified through the “Document Verification” section at https://etds.ticaret.gov.tr, the necessary registration procedure will be carried out, and no separate notary certification will be required for these resolutions.

    -No notary certification will be required for resolutions adopted in electronic environments (MERSİS and similar applications).

NOTES

  • If the change of address results from a street numbering project carried out by municipalities, an application with a letter obtained from the relevant municipality showing the company's current address and a petition is sufficient.

  • If the board resolution does not bear the signature of the chairman/deputy chairman, a document (notarized notice) showing that the request was made pursuant to Article 392/7 of the Turkish Commercial Code (TTK) must be submitted together with the resolution.

  • Resolutions adopted in electronic environments do not need to be separately certified by a notary.
