How to apply
An expert is appointed to determine damage, value or quantity.
About the Expert Report
The Expert Report is issued to carry out the technical assessments requested by the relevant institutions in our members' export, import, customs, tax and incentive procedures.
The report examines the company's field of activity, production structure, machinery and equipment status, and facility conditions; an on-site inspection is carried out if deemed necessary.
Expert report procedures are carried out by expert engineers and rapporteurs within the Chamber or assigned from outside it. The report is prepared following an inspection carried out at the workplace, in the customs area or in the production area and is submitted to the relevant institutions.
Scope of Expert Reports
- Customs expert appraisal (determination of model year and breakdown period)
- Closing procedures for the inward processing permit certificate
- Assessments in cases of force majeure (machine breakdown, natural disaster, etc.)
- Water requirement assessment, capacity or suitability evaluations
