Approximate cost determination and market research service

About Current Market Price Determination

Prior to tenders to be held in connection with the procurements of official institutions and organizations, market research is carried out in order to determine the approximate cost stipulated in Article 9 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734. In this context, if necessary, the opinions of the relevant professional committees are obtained, and the results are forwarded to the requesting official institutions and organizations. Only current market price requests received from official and public institutions are answered, and this service is not subject to a fee.

Documents Required for Applications

  • 1. Request letter of the relevant institution
  • 2. Materials list
  • 3. Technical Specification
  • 4. Technical Drawing (If the product/work for which an approximate cost is requested is custom-made, a technical drawing must be submitted)
  • 5. Administrative Specification (If the administrative specification contains special conditions and determinations affecting the price, the administrative specification must also be submitted)
  • 6. Sample (If an approximate cost determination is requested on the basis of a sample, product samples must be submitted)
