IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT LOST OR STOLEN IDENTITY DOCUMENTS
To prevent your lost or stolen identity document from being used by malicious persons to establish a commercial enterprise or company in your name, or to have you appointed as an authorized person/representative of companies, you must apply to our Trade Registry Directorate by petition, either in person or through your legal representative (by proxy), and submit a request for a RESTRICTION on your lost or stolen identity document.
Attached to the petition must be a copy of a valid official identity document and, for legal representatives, a copy of the documents proving their authority of representation, provided that the originals are shown to the trade registry directorate.
Our Directorate will inform the person who lost or had their identity document stolen, or that person's legal representative, in writing that, for as long as the restriction remains in effect and valid at all trade registry directorates in Türkiye, they will not be able to establish any commercial enterprise or company, nor take on the role of authorized person/representative in companies.
In order for the restriction to be lifted, an application must likewise be submitted by petition.
